There comes a time when the same is the same,
Trade one heart beat for a silent tone;
The one who’s your friend thinks you insane.
Standing in a crowd but your all alone.

You give and give til you bleed your blood,
So you open your heart to ignite the spark;
Love is easy as long as there’s no flood,
The sun doesn’t always shine, sometimes it’s dark!

Where are you? That’s what I thought.
There was once a burst, now a fizzled spark;
The sunshine that was once sought,
Leaves my eyes bleeding only dark.

Life teaches lessons, decide what you’ll be,
A giver a taker or someone who can be free;
I’ve lived long when you reach where you’re old,
Get used to the disguise, what it offers is cold.

Fairy tales, unicorns, are all made of dreams
Is this what everyone chases? Or at least it’s what it seems;
Everything is peachy as long as your glad,
But where’s the fighting spirit? When clouds bring sad.

Oh wait I know I forgot yes indeed it’s my bad!
I’m surrounded by Gods and people who are perfect;
Am I the only flawed human? I’m laughing not sad,
I find humor in the world of mystery where lives aren’t wrecked.

Let’s be real, truth is not truth, it lies somewhere in between,
We all are imperfect beings trying to find our way;
We search for truth and things we’ve never seen.
We make friend after friend, but wanting the one who’ll stay.

Drop the games, get a grip, look each person in the face,
Spill the truth, smile sometimes, do your best and show your grace;
We all struggling down here, but each one can ignite the spark.
At times we need a helping hand, cause sometimes the sunshine brings dark!
